Manara Music 2018
Thanks to the leadership at the Lighthouse School and the Edward Said Conservatory, students in Gaza are making beautiful music and enjoying a new opportunity to express themselves. The sounds are amazing after only six months and classes one day each week. Simple instruction in music along with chorale practice each Saturday afternoon for a select number of Lighthouse students has been a wonderful addition to the curriculum. The students gladly remain after school to participate in this new program and their skills and abilities are evident and improving quickly. Special thanks to Shady Najjar, the Lighthouse School Director, Mr. Abu Annas from the Edward Said Conservatory and Seraj Jildah for their leadership and help in making this possible.
